Led the full migration off EMR onto Hortonworks, redesigning the cluster architecture for better resource utilization. Simultaneously built HA for Namenode and ResourceManager — eliminating every single point of failure in the stack.
Implemented enterprise-grade security across the entire Hadoop ecosystem — Kerberos authentication, Active Directory integration, Cloudera Manager policies, and Ambari security configuration — for mission-critical data governance.

Built a suite of automation systems that eliminated manual overhead — automated MySQL user management across 200+ servers (99% reduction in manual work), EC2 scheduling to stop burning weekend cloud costs, and EMR cluster lifecycle automation. Together: $55,000+ in documented annual savings.
Led the full migration off CloudBees' enterprise CI platform to community Jenkins — eliminating millions in annual licensing fees while preserving all functionality. Designed the migration strategy, re-architected the controller and agent topology, and validated zero disruption to active delivery pipelines during the transition.
Executed end-to-end source code management platform migration from Bitbucket to GitHub — covering repository history, branch strategies, access controls, webhooks, and all downstream Jenkins pipeline integrations. Ensured every pipeline triggered correctly post-migration with no loss of build history or developer velocity.
Designed and built a comprehensive library of Jenkins automation jobs using Groovy — spanning failure monitoring pipelines, AI-assisted build diagnostic utilities, and delta-detection job watchers across 350+ jobs. The system prevents notification flooding, auto-triages build failures, and dramatically reduces the manual investigation burden on the team.
